This well made and heavy silver sugar shaker is designed on the Victorian style, having a sharp point,wide four sided tappered body and wide base. All silver sugar shakers or silver sugar casters from this period are usually substantial in size to cater for large family tables.

This silver sugar shaker measures 7 inches in height, is 2.25 inches square at the base, the widest part of the body is 2.5 inches, it weighs just under 196 grams.

The condition of the silver sugar shaker is excellent with no dents or scratches, just some surface cleaning abrasions, the lids decorative piercing is unbroken.

This silver cigarette box is in top condition, nearly as new, no scratches, no dents and it has no initials, dates or addresses.

The silver cigarette box has a lined and diamond machined design, the light really reflects the design beautifully.

The silver cigarette box measures 11cm x 8.5cm x 2.5cm, and weighs 248 grams.

The condition of the silver coffee pot is excellent considering it’s just about 110 years old, but it does have some slight surface abrasions, plus the handle near the retaining pin is not 100% perfect, please see the photos.
This high quality antique silver coffee pot is beautifully designed with scrolled flowers and a raised design all round the body.
Also see the photo of the base with the ruler you can see the base is not absolutely true, the jug does not wobble.

Apart from the above the the silver coffee pot has no other problems, the marks are clear on the body and the lid, the hinges are firm with hardly any wear, I’ve checked for leeks and it is fine.

The inside does not look very stained so maybe the jug was just used for hot water.

I’ve seen many larger antique silver coffee pots but not many small ones for serving one or two people.

This is a really fine antique coffee pot or jug that would look superb on any dinning table.
