Victorian Pickle Fork Mother of Pearl Twisted Handle – 1892
A very rare and unusual pickle fork, it has three prongs with two barbed, a nicely inscribed stem and the beautifully created twisted mother of pearl handle.
The fork measures 22cm in lenght, and the marks show it was made in 1892 and assayed in Birmingham. The makers mark is T.H. who is Thomas Hayes of Spencer street Birmingham, it weights 28 grams.
